  3. Annyeonghaseyo Tiana,
my name is Cia. I am a Ako Hiko Summer Learning Journey commentator who will be working with various bloggers like you over the summer break.

    Activity 1:
Your summary and answers to the questions were brief but very informative! Just remember that often a summary of a movie usually tells people what the movie is about without giving away any major spoilers! I think next time it would be good to try and summarise a film without giving away too much of the plot. If you could change your summary what would you do first?

I was so proud when I watched Moana for the first time, I felt pride in my Samoan heritage and a sense of community and closeness with my polynesian people too. Our stories were told to the world through this movie which was pretty awesome!

    Activity 2:
You’ve included some interesting and challenging aspects of farming which is great, I agree with you wholeheartedly about the difficulty of waking up very early..

I think it’s cool that you want to be a farmer however, are you certain that it will be a quiet country life? Sure it might fun, but you will have a lot of work waiting for you! Had you thought about what the job of a farmer entails? Perhaps you could do some research to help you understand the responsibilities of a farmer.

I personally wouldn’t want to be a farmer because my passion is in teaching as well as visual art!

    Bonus Activity:
I love this song and I’ve heard so many renditions of it from different singers around the world. I think Maisey Rika has a gorgeous and very strong voice, though I must say I haven’t heard her version yet.. Perhaps next time you could include a video or audio link to the song for quick access. Do you happen to know who wrote this song? Let me know in the comment section below!

Keep up the great work, I’m looking forward to your reply.

Toe feiloa’i fo’i ('See you again' in Samoan),

    Cia.

Would you like to have a farm? What kind of farm would you want?

I would want a strawberry farm because I could just go and pick some fresh ones and make a smoothie with it.

    Well done on this activity.
