It's great to see another quality blog post from you.

You have come up with some very interesting questions to ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff. In particular the one about the hardest times that she has faced. I think this is such an important concept to learn about. We all face hard times but if we keep going and push through, we can come out on top!

I like the idea that there are taniwha in our rivers, lakes and oceans. That they are there and protect our waters. With all the pollution in our waterways we need something to protect them. If there are taniwha, do you think it is possible that they were once dinosaurs? That would make sense to me.

Great poem. You have included some very fun rhymes. Way to go!

I look forward to your next post. Not long to go now!

  2. Hello Tiana,
Those are some pretty cool rhymes in your poem. My favourite part is when you saw a nappy suddenly on the plane, you have a good sense of humour! I also like how your questions for Dame Suzie Moncrieff are very good questions in general, and can be used to start a conversation if slightly altered.

I especially like the question "Who has been on your side throughout this journey" because it is a very thoughtful and nice question to ask. I agree with you not believing taniwha unless I see it, because I can not believe something when it's not existing. Your poem was very happy and made so many rhymes pop up in my head. I especially like the nappy one!

What place in the world would you travel to?

  3. Hi Tiana, Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you asked about the tough times that she had, and I'm sure that, like everyone, she would have gone through some rough patches. After thinking about China, would you want to go visit it sometime?
