I am really enjoying reading over your blog posts! You go into great detail with every post you make. You should be incredibly proud of yourself for setting high standards and keeping to them, kai pai!
I really enjoyed reading over ‘Conquering my fears’. This was such a personal piece which I know you must hold close to your heart. I too have trouble with public speaking but for me it was the opposite. In primary school I was incredibly confident and took any opportunity to speak in front of people. But as I grew older that confidence slowly diminished (made smaller or less). I became incredibly nervous to the point where I used to avoid all opportunities.
Within the past year I realised that the only way to get over this fear was to actually step up and practice! I made a change and took every opportunity to speak in front of people. I realised that I was getting better and better every time.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece. I am glad that you were surrounded by people who encouraged you to do the same.
Great DLO Tiana - did you enjoy completing it? Keep blogging in the SLJ and REMEMBER to comment on others to get those bonus points!
