Your trip to the Tundra sounds awesome! It really is amazing how there are no trees because the climate is too cold. It's hard to understand how cold it can get because the climate in New Zealand never gets quite that cold. Have you ever been in the snow before?
You have written a great description of what New Zealand is like. I think that one of the most special things about New Zealand is our amazing beaches. Have you gone to the beach this summer?
Hi Tiana, Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that logging is fair when it is used to get wood as a material, and I agree, although some farmers instead of cutting down the trees just burn them all to clear the land so they can grow vegetables. Would you want to do that to the trees so you could plant your vegetables if you had a farm?
