Diamante Poem - Matariki

Today Room 13 had to do a diamante poem about Matariki, we were given an specific way to do a diamante poem the way we are supposed to do it. With the verbs, nouns and adjectives. This is the diamante poem I made.

Matariki - Poster

We have been working on Matariki creations, and research on Matariki. For one of the activity we have done in class was a Matariki Poster. We were told to get into a group of 3 and we were given a task to start by coloring every single piece of paper. When we finished we had to put it together, this is the end results of our art work!!.

My T - Shirt - Art

In Room 13 we worked on our piece of T-Shirt art work that presented about us and what we like/love. We were given a blank copy of a T-Shirt outline, then we had to use our creativity and I drew all the things I love/like. This was really fun too do, especially getting to use and put our creativity into this shirt!!.

Matariki Acrostic Poem - Reading

For Reading we were learning about Matariki and facts about Matariki. We were given a bunch of reading task cards to pick from. We choose four reading task, One reading task card I choose was 'Create an Acrostic Poem'. This is the Acrostic Poem I created.

For writing - Quick Write with Mr Victor (Reliever). We were given a text that was from a song named 'Home again - Elton John' then we had to just carry on with writing a small quick write of what I thought about it, based on the beginning of the text and getting all the ideas from the text which was

My Mate is a hero! - Writing

This is one of the writing I have done and what our class had to do was to write a something that describes our friend/mate and what they like to do and other stuff like their personality. It was a imaginary friend that we make up and just write a little piece of writing about our mate/friend that attended war with me!.
