For our Kiwisport this term we have been doing 'Tennis' so for our class (Room 13) we are scheduled to do tennis on Friday's after morning tea time. I have learnt new things in Tennis and it has been so fun!

We have learnt how to draw on 'Google Drawings' online, for the reason why we are a technology, manaikalani school. We start picking up and learning more things on our devices & technology. This is my spaceship that I have created.

My Tuiga Creation - LCS Projects

For our project for the GTS art exhibition, Our Teacher Mrs Fonua decided to change things a bit and not go plain but creative & try create a cultural costume that is worn for performances. I chose to be independent and make a Samoan Tuiga. It was an amazing journey making this to making this Tuiga.

Term 3 Finished!

Term 3 has finished it has been a fun time having Mrs Fa'alili back!. But now it's 2 weeks of holidays then we go back to school, I wish everyone a happy holiday.

Ki O Rahi - Term 3

In the past few weeks we have been doing Ki O Rahi it is a Maori Sport. But in this sport it has a background story to it. Coach Puiti came in to our school and taught us lessons about the game Ki O Rahi. Today was the last session we had with her, playing this sport was a good experience.

Frozen - Quick Write

Every mornings when school starts we start with Quick Write. This is the first thing we do to start our day off. We have to look at a picture we are given and use our creativity and imagination to create our story. Usually the whole class has one picture but different stories behind it. This is my specific quick write I enjoy reading!.

My T - Shirt - Art

In Room 13 we worked on our piece of T-Shirt art work that presented about us and what we like/love. We were given a blank copy of a T-Shirt outline, then we had to use our creativity and I drew all the things I love/like. This was really fun too do, especially getting to use and put our creativity into this shirt!!.

Reading Task Cards! - Taniko Group

For reading we were given a book called Toitoi it had lots of different stories that students wrote. We had to choose one story and read it, then after that we were given reading task cards and we had to choose 3 reading task cards to complete.
