Tennis!

For our Kiwisport this term we have been doing 'Tennis' so for our class (Room 13) we are scheduled to do tennis on Friday's after morning tea time. I have learnt new things in Tennis and it has been so fun!

Touch!

Yesterday we had a touch tournament, unfortunately we were only able to have one training which made some of our team mates doubt ourselves on if we were going to win any games. But then we eventually came top and we won all of our games making us come first place!

Using 'Graphic Organizer' to plan our writing

For writing we learnt about Graphic Organizer, which is like a brainstorm. It helps us with starting of our writing also the planning so before we start our real writing we would have a little bit of help looking at our 'Graphic Organizer'.

Film Fest - Team Unicorns!

Each year, around term 3 the middle & senior syndicate has to create a film. Sometimes there will be a subject we have to base our short 3min film upon. But this years focus for our films was creativity. The team I was with this year was Liston, TJ, Anna & Te Morehu. This is the final outcome of Team Unicorns (our) film!

Ngatu Art Piece! - Tongan Language Week!

For Tongan Language Week last week, we made a Ngatu Art Piece. It is something traditional in Tonga, but the way we created our Ngatu was way easier & faster. 

Fun Run!

On Friday we had a Fun Run, which was not a competition but it was a run for us to beat our school from the last time we had fun run. We ran about 2.3km and 'Phoenix Karaka' a player for the silver ferns had participated in the run too!

Cross Country!

Last week Tuesday we had Cross Country an event that is always done every year!. The Weather was not the best but we still managed to put the weather aside & keep Cross Country going.

Prefix & Suffix!

For writing we done 'Prefix & Suffix'. Which Prefix means a word, letter, or number placed before another and Suffix means a morpheme added at the end of a word to form a derivative.
